GogServ Terms of Use

These Terms govern your access to and use of the GogServ application, website, communications, and related services. By creating an account or using GogServ, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice.

1. Who May Use GogServ

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and provide accurate, current information when creating and maintaining your account. If you use GogServ for a business or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account. Notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. GogServ’s Role

GogServ is a technology platform that helps users find, communicate with, and evaluate independent service providers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, GogServ does not perform the requested services, employ service providers, or become a party to an agreement between a user and a service provider.

Service providers control how they perform their work and are responsible for their qualifications, licenses, insurance, pricing, availability, safety practices, and compliance with applicable laws.

3. Service Requests and Provider Selection

Users may create service requests and review responses from interested providers. Request descriptions, budgets, timing, and preferences must be truthful and lawful.

You are responsible for evaluating a provider before accepting an offer. Consider the provider’s profile, experience, ratings, credentials, proposed scope, price, and any other information important to your decision. A profile, rating, badge, or platform status is not a guarantee of quality, suitability, licensing, or future performance.

4. Communications and Personal Information

Use GogServ messaging for communications before selecting a provider. Do not send sensitive information—such as financial account details, government identification numbers, passwords, or unnecessary personal contact information—through chat.

Messages may be stored and processed to deliver the service, maintain safety, investigate reports, and enforce these Terms, as described in the Privacy Notice.

5. Agreements, Pricing, and Payment

Users and service providers are responsible for agreeing on the final scope, schedule, price, materials, cancellation terms, warranties, and payment arrangements. Unless GogServ expressly offers an in-platform payment or contracting service, payment and contract obligations are directly between the user and provider.

Before work begins, both parties should document the agreed terms and confirm any required permits, licenses, insurance, or inspections.

6. Provider Responsibilities

Service providers must provide truthful profile and credential information, respond professionally, perform accepted work with reasonable care, honor agreed terms, and comply with applicable licensing, tax, employment, safety, consumer-protection, and other legal requirements.

Providers may not misrepresent qualifications, impersonate another person or business, or use information obtained through GogServ for unrelated solicitation or improper purposes.

7. Reviews and Ratings

Reviews and ratings must reflect an honest, genuine experience. You may not submit fake, misleading, defamatory, manipulated, or incentivized reviews without an appropriate disclosure, or coordinate reviews to unfairly raise or lower a rating.

GogServ may investigate, decline to publish, label, restrict, or remove content that appears fraudulent, unlawful, unrelated, or inconsistent with these Terms. We do not promise that every review will be accurate or remain available.

8. Acceptable Use

You may not use GogServ to:

  • Violate any law, regulation, court order, or third-party right.
  • Harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, or deceive another person.
  • Request or offer illegal, dangerous, fraudulent, or prohibited services.
  • Send spam, malware, harmful code, or unauthorized advertising.
  • Scrape, copy, reverse engineer, disrupt, or bypass platform security or access controls.
  • Create false accounts, manipulate platform activity, or evade a suspension or restriction.

9. Content You Provide

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant GogServ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, and promote the platform, subject to the Privacy Notice.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and that it does not violate law, privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights.

10. Safety and Disputes Between Users

Use reasonable judgment when communicating with or meeting another person. For emergencies or immediate threats, contact local emergency services.

Users and providers should first attempt to resolve service, payment, property, scheduling, or performance disputes directly. GogServ may offer communication or reporting tools but is not obligated to mediate, arbitrate, refund, or resolve disputes between platform users.

11. Platform Availability and Disclaimers

GogServ is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, GogServ disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and the quality or outcome of services offered by providers.

We do not guarantee that a request will receive responses, that a provider will be available or suitable, or that information supplied by another user is complete or accurate.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, GogServ and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits or data, or losses arising from interactions, agreements, payments, property damage, personal injury, or services involving users or providers.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations. In those jurisdictions, these provisions apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using GogServ at any time. GogServ may restrict, suspend, or terminate access, remove content, or take protective action when reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, safety risks, legal requirements, nonpayment, misuse, or violations of these Terms.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limitations, and obligations arising before termination—will continue to apply.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as GogServ evolves or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version and update the effective date. When required, we will provide additional notice. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them.
